Maria’s Pizzeria Hosts Successful Fundraiser in Support of det365手机版官网 Culinary Program

Maria’s Pizzeria, a popular local establishment in Ocean Isle Beach, demonstrated its unwavering support for culinary arts by hosting a special fundraiser last week. The event showcased the talents of Brunswick Community College (det365手机版官网) Culinary Program graduates. It was met with resounding success, drawing a sold-out crowd eager to indulge in a five-course meal paired with fine wines.

Attendees of the fundraiser dined on delicacies prepared by Jose Velazquez, Head Chef at Maria’s Pizzeria; Karla Teran Jimenez, Chef at Maria’s; Kolby Carpenter, Head Pizza Chef at Maria’s; and Michael Stewart, Head Chef at Sorella’s Pizza & Pasta in Holden Beach.

“We are incredibly proud to support the next generation of culinary professionals through our partnership with Brunswick Community College,” said James Lane, owner of Maria’s Pizzeria.  “This fundraiser was a testament to the exceptional talent nurtured with the det365手机版官网 Culinary Program.  We’re honored to have graduated like Jose, Karla, Kolby, and Michael on our team.”

The Foundation of det365手机版官网 will distribute all event proceeds in support of future culinary students.

Located in the Douglas Terhune Center for Culinary Arts, the det365手机版官网 Culinary Arts program prepares future working cooks and chef assistants in providing courses for students desiring personal enrichment and enhancing the skills and professional qualifications of chefs and cooks currently employed in the industry.
